Legal Entity: Trostower LLC (EIN: 61-2331400), trading as Trustower
1. Fund Custody
Trostower LLC (Trustower) is a technology platform. We do not hold customer funds directly. Funds are held by our licensed payment partners in segregated accounts. Trustower software manages the deal lifecycle and instructs our partners when to hold, release, or refund funds based on verified deal conditions.
2. Funding a Deal
Once both buyer and seller agree to deal terms, the buyer submits payment. Funds are immediately transferred to a segregated account maintained by our licensed payment partner. Trustower marks the deal as "Funded" and notifies both parties by email.
3. Fund Release
Funds release to the seller when:
- Buyer clicks Confirm Delivery during the inspection window, or
- The inspection window expires with no dispute opened (automatic release), or
- Trustower resolves a dispute in seller's favor
Partial releases are supported for milestone deals.
4. Refunds
Funds return to the buyer when:
- Deal cancelled before seller begins work, or
- Seller fails to deliver within agreed timeframe, or
- Trustower resolves a dispute in buyer's favor
5. Inspection Window
After seller marks delivery, buyer has 3–14 days to inspect (set in deal terms). If no action and no dispute before window closes, funds auto-release to seller.
6. Disputes
Either party may open a dispute during the inspection window. Trustower immediately freezes funds. Both parties have 72 hours to submit evidence. Trustower makes a binding determination within 5 business days.
7. Fees
Transaction fees are calculated as follows:
- 1.5% of deal value
- Minimum: $5.00
- Maximum: $500.00
Fees are charged only on completed deals. Cancelled or refunded deals incur no fee.
